The Hollow-Eyed Heir
Driftwood art doll assemblage wall art with antique doll head
She was found waiting... an antique doll head with hollow eyes and a body of weathered driftwood, shaped by water long before she came to my studio. An old skeleton key hangs from a chain across her chest, an ornate heart medallion is pinned at her shoulder, and a tiny wind-up key turns at her side. A wild nest of natural fiber hair with a single autumn leaf crowns her head.
She is one of a kind. There is only one, and she will never be made again.
